Approach
My work follows an open-ended pedagogical approach to education through arts that fosters creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking by emphasizing exploration over rigid instruction. I take special interest in the tension and movement between material and object, and between potential and outcome. This pedagogy encourages learners—both children and adults—to experiment with various materials, styles, and concepts at their own pace. As a facilitator I provide guidance for them to follow their independent thoughts, ideas and wills without dictating specific techniques or aesthetic goals.
